Fluorite is a mineral which commonly forms as cubes or octahedrons (diamond shapes). Colours of fluorite can include purple, green, yellow, blue or clear. Some fluorite will fluoresce under UV light, and glow blue or purple. This green fluorite fluoresces a neon purple so strongly that the colour change can be seen in the sun due to the UV rays in sunlight. This fluorite has been sourced from the Rogerley Mine in Weardale, England.
