Spirit quartz, or fairy quartz, is a rare quartz variety found only in one place in South Africa. It is fairly new to the market, since it was first discovered in 2002. This quartz has a unique sparkle because it forms as a main crystal point covered with a druzy outer layer of tiny quartz points.
