# - 5227 Beryl (emerald)

This lovely emerald crystal is a green form of beryl. The green colour is due to trace amounts of vanadium within the crystal. This piece features great clarity and crystal structure. This deposit was very recently discovered in Jos Plateau in Nigeria.
