# - 5068 "Moonlight Pocket" smoky and citrine quartz point

$680.00

The combination specimens of quartz sourced from the world famous “Moonlight Pocket” in Torrington, New South Wales, are instantly recognisable with their dark black smoky quartz crystals topped with a second generation layer of citrine formed over the crystal. This piece also features tiny citrine crystals sprouting from the sides, and stunning phantoms in the point. This deposit was discovered relatively recently in 2011 by local fossickers. As it is quite a small deposit and only a limited number of specimens were found there, these pieces are extremely sought after by collectors and very difficult to source.
